The Brazilian Ministry of Justice and Public Safety is preparing an ordinance to force social networks to prevent the publication and remove content about attacks in schools.
The minister of the folder, Flávio Dino, gave the information in an interview with the website g1.
“It’s very specific: it’s about school attacks,” the justice minister said.
“This is a national emergency: what value is above saving the lives of children and adolescents?” said Dino.
The forecast is that the ordinance will be published on Wednesday (12).
On Monday (10), Flávio Dino met with representatives of platforms.
During the meeting, Dino criticized Twitter for refusing to remove a post with photos of perpetrators of attacks on schools.
