The next president of the Superior Military Court (STM), Brigadier Minister Francisco Joseli Parente Camelo, supported the decision of Justice Alexandre de Moraes of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) to centralize the trials of those who participated in the January 8th demonstrations.
He made the statement on Tuesday (28).
"I read and reread the decision of Justice Alexandre de Moraes, and I understand that it is very well founded," Camelo said in an interview with O Globo newspaper.
"I don't see, on the whole, that they were military crimes."
