Robberies and thefts in the "Cracolândia" region in downtown São Paulo fell by 19% between April 10 and 16 compared with the previous week.
The result comes after a 30% reinforcement in ostensive and preventive policing and an intensification of investigations.
The finding was made through the Central Region Criminal Diagnosis - Open Scenes of Use, a new tool the São Paulo Government created to increase the data transparency . . .
