RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – On Wednesday, October 6 at 23:26 local time, the first Aerolíneas Argentinas flight to Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, departed from Aeroparque Jorge Newbery. The Argentine airline had suspended operations to that country since last May due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
During October Aerolíneas Argentinas will fly once a week between Buenos Aires and Santa Cruz de la Sierra in an Embraer 190, configured with 96 seats. In November, the company will increase to two weekly flights, according to information obtained by Aviacionline.

Currently Aerolíneas Argentinas and Boliviana de Aviación are the companies operating between Argentina and Bolivia, as before COVID-19.
