Maduro arrives in Brazil on his first official visit during Lula Da Silva’s current term in office

Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro arrived this Sunday in Brazil on his first "official visit" since the beginning of the current administration of Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula Da Silva.

The state-owned Venezolana de Televisión (VTV) broadcast Maduro's arrival in Brasilia and explained that this is one more step in the "reestablishment of bilateral and diplomatic relations" between Venezuela and Brazil.

According to VTV, the Venezuelan president will also participate on May 30 in a meeting of South American presidents called by Lula Da Silva.
