Brazilians are increasingly buying electric cars 

Throughout March, sales of electric cars broke a new record in Brazil.

There were 6,000 registrations.

The result represents a 55% growth over the same month of the previous year.

The data are from the Brazilian Electric Vehicle Association (ABVE).

The institution's records show that almost 15,000 cars in this segment were sold in the first quarter - another historical mark.

Three years earlier, in 2021, the first quarter sales of electric cars closed at 4,500 units.

In other words, the current sales average is three times higher.
