Brazil: congressman submits request for a public hearing on censorship

Congressman Gustavo Gayer (PL-GO), a member of the Federal Chamber's Communication Commission, requested the convening of a public hearing to discuss the issue of censorship in Brazil.

Gayer claimed that the country is experiencing political persecution and that people are imprisoned simply for expressing their opinions.

The purpose is to hear from journalists and communicators who have been censored, blocked on social networks, or prevented from doing their jobs for their opinions.
