The upcoming Peru Blockchain Conference 2023 (PBCONF23) will be a critical event for the development and growth of the cryptocurrency community in Latin America.
The conference, which will take place on April 28 and 29 at the NOS PUCP auditorium in Lima, aims to build on the success of its predecessor, the Lima Crypto Capital Conference 2022.
Considered the most important technology event in Peru and the Andean region, it will cover various topics, including blockchain, Web3, cryptocurrencies, DeFi, regulation and artificial intelligence, and more.
After the great turnout at the Lima Crypto Capital Conference 2022, organizers Kristopher Panana and Mauricio Ramos (Osito Lima) are determined to make an even more significant impact this time.
The 2023 conference aims to engage more people and promote the Web3 ecosystem across Latin America.

The event’s timing is ideal, as there has been a surge of interest in cryptocurrencies in Peru.
According to the Triple-A Blockchain Latam Report 2022, 1.2 million Peruvians (3.7% of the population) own cryptocurrencies.
In addition, a report by Buenbit shows that 60% of the Peruvian population with access to banking services has shown interest in buying cryptocurrencies.
The PBCONF23 will serve as a platform for collaboration and knowledge sharing between Web3 companies, investors, banks, governments, enthusiasts, academics, and entrepreneurs.
More than 1,000 in-person attendees, more than 10,000 virtual attendees, and more than 50 live speakers from around the world are expected to attend.
