The Ó do Borogodó reopens after Monday’s closure with the first samba session of the new week — 9 pm to 2 am, five hours in the room on Rua Horácio Lane that has been Pinheiros’ samba home since 2001. Tuesday is one of the quieter nights: the crowd is smaller, the tables are easier, the atmosphere leans toward conversation and listening rather than the Saturday-night dance-floor crush. The musicians are the same — the roda rotates its regulars through every night of the week — but the Tuesday energy favours the people who come for the music rather than the party. Casa de Francisca reopens with two stages tonight. The Porão — the underground stage at the Palacete Teresa — runs its Tuesday programme with the best free deal in the city: the first 100 tickets are free, distributed from 6:40 pm at the bilheteria. The Largo — Casa de Francisca’s free outdoor terrace — opens from 11:30 am with the midday-to-midnight Tuesday run: the longest Largo hours of the week. Show · Two Sessions · Intimate

The Blue Note SP resumes its evening programme — the first ticketed show since Saturday’s Roberto Menescal landmark. Two sessions, typically 8 pm and 10:30 pm. Tuesday is the most intimate night of the Blue Note concert week: the smallest crowd, the most attentive listening, the Conjunto Nacional room at its quietest and most focused. The Varanda Blue terrace opens for pre-show drinks with the Av. Paulista view. The constants. Bar Brahma at São João and Ipiranga runs 11 am to 1 am with live samba, cold chopp, no cover — the art deco botequim since 1948. Rabo di Galo at the Rosewood SP opens from 7 pm for cocktails. On Tuesdays, with the full circuit now running, these two shift from Monday’s sole survivors to supporting roles: the pre-show drink before the Blue Note, the post-Porão nightcap, the Lapa-to-Paulista equivalent in São Paulo’s geography.
