01
Tonight’s Vibe Menu
Saturday is the eve of the Dia Internacional da Mulher and São Paulo is running full. In the Centro Histórico, Casa de Francisca presents one of the weekend’s most significant bills: Marcos Sacramento and Zé Paulo Becker bring “Os Afro-Sambas — 60 Anos” to the Salão at 22h, a duo performance marking six decades since Vinicius de Moraes and Baden Powell’s landmark album. In the Porão, Pagode na Lata — the community samba project rooted in the central region — plays two sessions, the first at 17h (100 entries free) and the second at 21h (100 entries free). In the Sala B, Tika presents her new original material at 22h. In Barra Funda, D-Edge transforms its Unlimited night into a special edition fusing NAVE and Superafter with an entirely female lineup — doors from 23h59, running past midday on Sunday — featuring Anastácia, Lary Lima, Gabi Bessa, FHTD, Marian Flow, and Carola across Pista 1, Pista 2, and the Lounge. In Pinheiros, Ó do Borogodó offers Saturday samba from 22h and the house feijoada from midday. Mostly cloudy, 26°C, 42% chance of rain — carry an umbrella but expect the venues to be packed regardless.

1Casa de Francisca — Marcos Sacramento & Zé Paulo Becker
Samba · MPB · Aniversário

The centrepiece of Saturday night at Casa de Francisca is the Salão show by Marcos Sacramento and Zé Paulo Becker, marking sixty years since the release of “Os Afro-Sambas” — the 1966 album by Vinicius de Moraes and Baden Powell that stands as one of the most singular achievements in the history of the Brazilian canção. The record fused samba, candomblé, and MPB into a work unlike anything that had preceded it, and its influence on Brazilian popular music across the following six decades has been continuous and deep. Sacramento is one of the most accomplished interpreters working in the samba-MPB crossover today; Becker is among the finest guitarists in São Paulo. Together in the intimate Salão — capacity seated, voz e violão format, the room designed for exactly this kind of concentrated listening — the show promises to be one of the most musically precise events of the month. Doors (abertura do Salão) at 20h; show at 22h. Tickets via the Casa de Francisca website or at the door subject to availability. R. Quintino Bocaiúva, 22, Centro.

2D-Edge — Unlimited · Especial Dia da Mulher
Techno · House · After

The D-Edge’s Unlimited night is one of the most anticipated recurring events on the São Paulo electronic music calendar — a fusion of the house’s NAVE and Superafter formats that runs from midnight into Sunday afternoon. This Saturday the edition is an Especial Dia da Mulher, with an entirely female lineup curated across three spaces and more than twelve hours of music. On Pista 1, the sequence runs from Anastácia at 23h59 through Lary Lima, Gabi Bessa, and Luma, with Stormyx carrying the room into the morning light. Pista 2 opens at 2am with Due, followed by Leticia Stempi, Miracle, and then the extended early-morning slot: From House to Disco (FHTD) from 7h30, Marian Flow from 9h, and the closing set by Carola from 10h30 until noon. The Lounge runs its own parallel programme from 3am — Livv, Mary Gripa, Elegance Grooves, and Miss Belini. The D-Edge is located at Av. Mário de Andrade, 141, Barra Funda, and is operated under the direction of Renato Ratier. Tickets from R$90 (+ taxes) via Ingresse. Doors from 23h59.

3Casa de Francisca — Pagode na Lata · Porão
Samba · Pagode · Comunidade

Pagode na Lata is one of the most socially grounded musical projects in the Casa de Francisca’s Porão programme — a group of eight musicians who live and work in the central region of São Paulo, born from samba as a form of cultural resistance and harm reduction in the Cracolândia territory. The repertoire draws from classic samba and pagode with an influence of street and peripheral São Paulo sonorities. The show runs in two sessions on Saturday: the first session opens at 16h with the show from 17h to 18h30 (100 entries free from 15h at the bilheteria; antecipado R$26; na porta R$35); the second session opens at 20h with the show from 21h to 22h30 (100 entries free from 19h; same pricing). The Porão is standing-room, compact, and one of the most charged rooms in the Palacete Teresa. R. Quintino Bocaiúva, 22, Centro.

4Casa de Francisca — Tika · Sala B
MPB · Samba · Bossa Nova

While the Salão presents Marcos Sacramento and Zé Paulo Becker, the Sala B holds a complementary programme: Tika, a São Paulo singer, presenting an inédito show built around the songs of her second album, currently in production. The repertoire moves between samba and bossa nova, with compositions authored in partnership with contemporary names including Otto, Passarim, Alice Coutinho, Kika, and Rômulo Froes. On stage, Tika takes the guitar fronting a power trio with Pipo Pegoraro on bass and Vitor Cabral on drums. The Sala B is the most intimate of the Casa de Francisca’s rooms — seated, low capacity, suited to this kind of concentrated, first-hearing experience of new material. Abertura às 20h; show às 22h. Tickets via the Casa de Francisca site. R. Quintino Bocaiúva, 22, Centro.

5Ó do Borogodó — Saturday Samba & Feijoada
Samba de raiz · Feijoada

Founded in 2001 on Rua Horácio Lane in Pinheiros, the Ó do Borogodó is one of São Paulo’s most enduring addresses for live samba de raiz — a small, unpretentious house that has hosted the finest musicians in the city for more than two decades. Saturday is the house’s centrepiece night, running from 22h until 3am, and the afternoon session includes one of the best feijoadas in Pinheiros, served from midday with samba roda from around 16h. The room is compact and fills quickly — arrive early for a table. The menu is minimal but well-chosen: chope, caipirinha, carne-seca com abóbora. No specific artist confirmed for March 7 at time of publication — check @odoborogodobar for tonight’s bill. R. Horácio Lane, 21, Pinheiros.

1
17h — Casa de Francisca Porão for Pagode na Lata 1ª sessão
Start at the Centro. Arrive before 15h to secure a free ticket at the bilheteria for the 17h Porão session, or buy antecipado (R$26) online. Metro São Bento or Sé. The Salão Almoço & Música — Pagode na Várzea — runs through the afternoon (11h30–17h), so arrive early to eat before the Porão show.
2
20h — Return to Casa de Francisca for Salão opening and Tika in Sala B
Abertura do Salão at 20h for the Marcos Sacramento & Zé Paulo Becker show at 22h. Abertura Sala B also 20h for Tika at 22h. The Porão 2ª sessão of Pagode na Lata opens at 20h (show 21h) for those who want to stay in the Porão. The three rooms run simultaneously — choose your priority and arrive early to secure a seat in the Salão.
3
22h — Marcos Sacramento & Zé Paulo Becker in the Salão
The Afro-Sambas 60 Anos show is the musical centrepiece of Saturday night. Full seated format in the Salão; arrive well before 22h for a good position. The Sala B Tika show runs simultaneously — both worth planning for if the Salão has remaining capacity after the main show begins.
4
Midnight — D-Edge for the Unlimited or Pinheiros for samba
After the Casa de Francisca closes, two options: Uber to D-Edge in Barra Funda (Av. Mário de Andrade, 141) for the Unlimited Especial Dia da Mulher, which opens at 23h59 and runs to midday Sunday — 12+ hours of all-female electronic music. Or Metro/Uber to Pinheiros for the Ó do Borogodó (R. Horácio Lane, 21), where samba continues until 3am.

05
Still Going After 22h
Late night

Saturday night after 22h in São Paulo splits clearly across two circuits. In the Centro, Casa de Francisca is at its busiest: Marcos Sacramento & Zé Paulo Becker in the Salão and Tika in the Sala B both begin at 22h, while the Porão wraps the 2ª sessão of Pagode na Lata by 23h. The Salão runs until 1am. In Pinheiros, the Ó do Borogodó opens its samba de raiz programme at 22h and stays open until 3am — one of the most reliable late-night live music rooms in the city. In Barra Funda, the D-Edge Unlimited Especial Dia da Mulher opens at 23h59 and does not close until midday Sunday — Gabi Bessa carries Pista 1 through the deepest hours of the madrugada, while FHTD, Marian Flow, and Carola take Pista 2 into the morning. For those looking ahead to Sunday: the D-Edge Superafter transitions seamlessly from the Unlimited; Casa de Francisca marks the Dia Internacional da Mulher with Las Fanfarronas in the Porão at 11h, Jéssica Américo for Almoço & Música in the Salão, and Fabiana Cozza in a free roda de samba in the Largo at 17h.

Getting Around
Transport intel

Metro: This São Paulo nightlife guide recommends the metro for all Centro venues. The São Paulo Metro runs Saturday service until midnight on most lines. Key stations: São Bento or Sé for Casa de Francisca (R. Quintino Bocaiúva, 22). Vila Madalena (Line 2-Verde) for Ó do Borogodó in Pinheiros — about a 10-minute walk. Consolação for Blue Note SP (Av. Paulista). After midnight, ride-hailing is the standard option across the city.

Weather: Mostly cloudy with temperatures around 26°C and a 42% chance of rain tonight — higher than average for early March. Carry an umbrella. All featured shows are indoors. The D-Edge, Casa de Francisca, and Ó do Borogodó are entirely interior venues. Rain is unlikely to disrupt plans but transit time between neighbourhoods may run longer on a wet Saturday night.

Ride-hailing: 99 and Uber are standard throughout São Paulo. Saturday night surge begins around 22h, particularly in the Centro, Pinheiros, and Barra Funda. Centro to Barra Funda (D-Edge): 15 to 20 minutes by car. Centro to Pinheiros (Ó do Borogodó): 20 to 25 minutes. From Vila Madalena / Pinheiros to D-Edge: 15 minutes. Plan Uber in advance for after midnight, especially after 1am when supply compresses.

Safety: Casa de Francisca in the Centro Histórico is well-serviced by security on Saturday nights; the Palacete Teresa block on R. Quintino Bocaiúva is well-lit and monitored. Use ride-hailing for the return from both Centro and Pinheiros venues after midnight. D-Edge in Barra Funda has full security; the area around Av. Mário de Andrade is standard late-night São Paulo — ride-hailing in and out is the recommended approach.
