RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Uruguay "did its homework well" in economic terms compared to other regional countries, which led the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) - a United Nations (UN) agency - to estimate that the country will grow by 3.9% in 2021 and 3.1% in 2022.
According to the latest growth projections published by ECLAC-UN, Latin America will grow by 2.1% in 2022 after having reached an average of 6.2% in 2020.
