Brazilian DJ Alok Climbs Rankings, Now 11th Best in World

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – This is the highest position ever achieved by a Brazilian in this ranking.

According to the magazine, one of the world’s leading publications focused on electronic music, the Brazilian is booming: in 2017 he had been ranked 19th and 13th in 2018.

Other Brazilians on the list are Vintage Culture, who dropped 28 positions to 47th place, and the duo Cat Dealers, who are in 46th place.

This year’s list is topped by Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, followed by Martin Garrix, David Guetta, Armin van Buuren, and Marshmello.

Tiësto, Afrojack, Steve Aoki, and Hardwell still make up the list – the latter behind Alok after being number one in 2013 and 2014, and in the top three in recent years.
