Panama accumulates 442,295 cases of Covid and 6,906 deaths from the disease (August 8)

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Panama accumulated up to this Sunday 442,295 confirmed cases of covid-19 and 6,906 deaths after more than 16 months of the pandemic and is preparing to include the private health system in the national immunization program against the disease started last January 20.

The Ministry of Health (Minsa) emphasized that as of Monday, August 9, a total of 9 private hospitals in the capital will administer vaccines, for the moment only from Pfizer, to priority groups, including children aged 12 years and older with chronic diseases.
