Requirements for international tourists wishing to travel to Peru will be the same as applicable up to December 2020, with a negative PCR test result for Covid-19, in addition to the mandatory wearing of face masks and face shields at airport facilities and inside airplanes.

The government stated that this measure was taken after noting an improvement in Covid-19 infection figures in recent weeks in high-risk regions, including the city of Lima.
