“Jair Bolsonaro is fine. Once again we thank the medical team who performed the surgery and all those who prayed, prayed or somehow sent positive energy. It worked,” said the parliamentarian in a post on Instagram.

A candidate to take over the Brazilian embassy in Washington by an appointment that should be made by his father, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, Eduardo may carry weapons because he is a licensed clerk of the Federal Police.

The president’s son is an enthusiast and gun collector, as well as a supporter of the practice of shooting sports. The Glock 9mm is the standard weapon used by the Federal Police throughout Brazil.

The Vila Nova Star hospital published an official note on the subject:

“The Vila Nova Star Hospital fully accepts Brazilian legal legislation. It is also worth mentioning that the security rules that carry out the admission of the President of the Republic, Jair Bolsonaro, to this hospital are the responsibility of the Institutional Security Cabinet, to whom the questioning should be addressed.”
