Brazil: In election week, 86% are sure of their vote for president

A PoderData survey conducted from September 25 to 27 shows that 86% of voters are sure about their vote for president next Sunday, October 2.

Only 8% considered changing candidates, and 6% could not answer the question.

The rate of certainty of the vote has been rising slowly in recent months, indicating consolidation of the electorate’s choices.

At the end of July, 80% of voters rejected the idea of changing candidates before Election Day.

Jair Bolsonaro (Liberal Party – PL) and Lula da Silva (Workers’ Party – PT) have the most consolidated votes.

Only 3% of the president’s voters admit they can choose another candidate by October 2, with the PT’s 6%.

This rate rises to 18% among the voters of Ciro Gomes (PDT) and 23% among those of Simone Tebet (MDB).
