On Wednesday night (28), the Brazilian Federal Police (PF) began the first arrests of suspects involved in the attempted invasion of the corporation’s building and in acts of vandalism in Brasília, on the last 12th.
The acts took place after the arrest of chief José Acácio Cererê Xavante.
Two people have already been arrested, one in Rio de Janeiro and the other in Brasília, by order of the Justice of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), Alexandre de Moraes.
The measures are part of a larger operation launched this Thursday morning (29), with more than 30 warrants to be carried out, including arrests and searches and seizures.
The operation takes place in the Federal District (DF) and in 7 other states: Pará, Tocantins, Ceará, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Rondônia and Mato Grosso.
The Civil Police of the DF also participates in “Operation Nero.”
