Future Lula da Silva government classifies members of camps in front of HQs as criminal organization

By Gianlucca Gatta

Interlocutors of Lula da Siva’s future Minister of Justice, Flavio Dino, and the future director general of the Federal Police (PF), Andrei Rodrigues Passos, classify members of camps in front of Army HQs as members of a criminal organization.

The information is from the g1 website. In all, 27 investigations have already been requested to hold suspects responsible for acts of vandalism and terrorism, but the assessment is that “there is inertia and apathy from the current authorities”, according to the portal.

According to interlocutors consulted by the website, “the transitional government does not receive any type of intelligence information from the current Minister of Justice or from the director general of the Federal Police about recent cases.”

One of the priorities of the new PT government will be to rigorously confront the “right-wing extremism” that is taking hold in Brazil, according to g1.

He wants a review of laws on public safety and terrorism.
