The response, automated and standardized, was sent to everyone:

While we thank you for sending your manifestation, we must emphasize that the Armed Forces, as institutions of the Brazilian State, have a history of centuries of dedication to serving the homeland and the Brazilian people well, both in defense of the country and in contributing to national development and the welfare of Brazilians.

We assure, therefore, that the Ministry of Defense exercises its constitutional function of assisting the President of the Republic, under the terms of Article 76 of the Federal Constitution, always on the side of the law, order, democracy, and freedom, as well as of the independence and harmony among Powers.

In this way, we reinforce that the Navy, Army, and Air Force are State organisms indispensable for the country’s governability, always acting based on art. 142 of the CF/88″.

The answer ended up quoting article 142 of the Federal Constitution, which allows any of the three branches of the Republic to request the army, aeronautics, and navy to go into action in case of need to reestablish law and order in the country.
