Conservative candidate Tarcisio has 58% vs. 42% of left-wing candidate Haddad in São Paulo, says Real Times

Former minister Tarcisio de Freitas (Republican, right) leads the race for São Paulo government in the second round, according to the Real-Time Big Data poll conducted Oct. 17-18, 2022.

He has 58 percent of the valid votes compared to 42 percent for his opponent Fernando Haddad (PT, left).

The odds consider valid votes, which are votes given to any candidate, excluding white and invalid votes.

For the survey, 1,200 voters were interviewed in person in the state of São Paulo.

The margin of error is 3 percentage points with a 95% confidence interval.

Record TV commissioned the poll for R$20,000

Read the total votes:

Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans): 49%;
Fernando Haddad (PT): 36%;
White/Null/None: 7%;
Don’t know/no answer: 8%.
