The United Kingdom will no longer require a tourist visa for Colombians, announced the president of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, on his Twitter account.
“I thank the United Kingdom for its decision to remove the tourist visa requirement for Colombian visitors,” announced the president.
So far, no details are known when the measure will come into force.
The United Kingdom has not issued a statement on the matter, but the British Embassy in Colombia has called a press conference on Tuesday, October 18, and it is expected that more details on eliminating the visa will be provided.
