Peru pays the most for gasoline in Latin America -Bloomberg

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Gasoline prices have increased worldwide, but one country that suffers the most is Peru. According to a study published by Bloomberg, Peruvians pay the most for this fuel in Latin America.

The U.S. financial advisory company used data from Colombia’s Ministry of Finance to determine which country suffers the most from rising gasoline prices in the region, and the result was Peru.

However, this information was contrasted with data from the GlobalPetrolPrice site, which takes 95-octane gasoline as a reference. It showed that Uruguay is the Latin American country with the highest prices, paying US$7.65 per gallon.

According to Bloomberg, Colombia has one of the lowest gasoline prices in the region thanks to the fuel subsidies introduced by the government of Iván Duque.

According to Bloomberg, Colombia has one of the lowest gasoline prices in the region, thanks to the fuel subsidies introduced by the government of Iván Duque, who will leave the presidency to the recently elected Gustavo Petro.
