Brazil is one of the countries that most believe in entrepreneurs in the world -survey

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – A recent survey commissioned by the German company Statista specialized in market and consumer research, revealed that Brazil is the fourth country where people trust entrepreneurs the most.

Conducted in November 2021, the survey covered 28 countries worldwide and heard 36 thousand people who were asked if they trusted companies to “do the right thing”.

The study found that people in China, Indonesia, and India have the highest trust at 84%, 81%, and 79%, respectively.

Brazil comes fourth on the list, with 64% of people trusting executives and companies.

Compared to trust in government, it seems that business came out ahead. In 23 of the 28 countries surveyed, companies took the lead. In total numbers, 61% of respondents have more trust in businesses, while 52% trust their governments more.

Indeed, a level of customer trust in companies will be necessary for the economic recovery that countries are expected to experience when the pandemic finally ends.

The number in the United States was surprising. The survey showed that only 49% of Americans trust the goodwill of business people.

Russia, meanwhile, was also among the most distrustful countries, with only 34% of its citizens showing confidence in businesses.

Overall, eleven countries saw an increase in trust in businesses, while eleven registered a decrease.
