Brazil’s entrepreneur Luciano Hang leads Senate race in Santa Catarina

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Next come ex-governor Raimundo Colombo (17.3%), João Rodrigues (7.9%), Dario Berger (5.3%), Kennedy Nunes (4.8%), and Ideli Salvatti (4.3%).

Napoleão Bernardes (3.1%), Gelson Merisio (2.9%), Celso Maldaner (2.6%), Daniel Freitas (2%) and Jorge Seif Júnior (0.5%) also scored in the poll. Blank, void, or no one was the answer of 14.1% of respondents; 12.4% don’t know or didn’t answer.

The institute also heard the preference of the state’s population for the presidential election: Jair Bolsonaro enjoys 52% of voting intentions for 2022. He is followed by ex-president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), with 24.2%.

Next come Ciro Gomes (3.6%), Luiz Henrique Mandetta (2.8%), and Eduardo Leite (2%). No one, blank, or void total 10.8%, while 4.6% don’t know or didn’t answer.

For the state government, current governor Carlos Moisés has 24.2% of the preference, ahead of senator Jorginho Mello (16.1%). The other names polled were Décio Lima (9.6%), Gelson Merisio (7.9%), Antídio Lunelli (4.4%), and Tramontin (3.6%). None, blank or void total 21.3% of respondents; 12.9% don’t know or didn’t answer.

The Paraná Pesquisas institute heard 1,514 voters in 86 municipalities in the state between July 15 and 19. The error margin is 2.5%.
