Brazil records 2,468 deaths and 80,609 new cases of Covid-19 in 24h (June 15)

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Brazil registered on Tuesday, 15, 2,468 deaths caused by covid-19, according to data from the National Council of Health Secretaries (Conass) released earlier.

With today’s numbers, 490,696 lives were lost to the disease. The Conass survey, which compiles data from the 26 state and federal district health secretariats, also showed 80,609 new cases of Covid-19 in 24 hours, with a total of 17,533,221 records since the pandemic began.
