RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – The Covid CPI (investigative committee) has rescheduled the testimony of ex-minister of Health Eduardo Pazuello to May 19th, after the general reported that he had contact with two underlings who tested positive for Covid-19. Pazuello was scheduled to be heard by senators on Wednesday May 5th.
In a notice sent to the committee, the ex-minister proposed to be heard remotely or that his testimony be postponed. The CPI president, Senator Omar Aziz (PSD-AM), chose postponement so that Pazuello could be heard in person.
