Three Parties Submit Petition to Remove Flávio Bolsonaro from Office

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Three political parties have requested the Senate Ethics Council to cashier Senator Flávio Bolsonaro, son of President Jair Bolsonaro, removing him from office.

According to opposition leader Senator Randolfe Rodrigues, the allegation is money laundering, corruption, and association with militia groups. The petition is signed by his party Rede, as well as PSOL and PT.

“We, of Rede, PSOL, and PT, have just submitted a petition for the removal from office of Senator Flávio Bolsonaro, for money laundering, corruption, and association with militia groups. We will not accept that as the son of the president, the senator should stop paying for his actions! #ForaFlavioBolsonaro (#OutFlavioBolsonaro),” wrote Randolfe on Twitter.

Flávio Bolsonaro has not yet commented on the matter.
