RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Argentina’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) fell 1.7 percent in the third quarter, compared to the same period last year.
Over the second quarter, GDP recorded growth of 0.9 percent, without seasonal adjustments, according to a preliminary reading released Tuesday by the National Statistics and Census Institute (INDEC).
In the second quarter, Argentina’s economy had remained stable (revised data) in the annual comparison, after a 5.8 percent drop in the first three months of the year.
