Former Presidential Candidate Haddad Attacks Rio Governor in the Strongest Terms

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Former mayor of São Paulo Fernando Haddad (PT) advocated this Saturday, September 21st, on Twitter, the impeachment of the governor of Rio, Wilson Witzel (PSC), and accused him of being “a murderer“. Haddad said, without specifying, that “absurd things are happening”.

Haddad calls for Witzel’s impeachment and accuses him of being a ‘Murderer’, in reference to the death of an eight-year-old girl, who was shot by a stray bullet on Friday night in Complexo do Alemão (RJ). (Photo: Internet Reproduction)

He also stated in the post that “there are plenty of reasons” for Witzel’s dismissal by impeachment. Haddad said he is “the great culprit for the atrocities committed in Rio“.

The former mayor of São Paulo and the governor of Rio are appointed as potential presidential candidates in 2022. The story got in touch with Witzel’s advisor and awaits a position.

“Out, Witzel: I have avoided tweeting these days. Preposterous things happening. But in all honesty, I really think there are plenty of reasons to call for Witzel’s impeachment. He is the great culprit for the atrocities that are committed in Rio de Janeiro. A murderer!”
