Plane Crash Ended it All

The star boarded a flight operated by PEC Táxi Aéreo. Her journey was supposed to end at Ubaporanga Airport.

With her were her uncle, Abicelí Silveira, and her producer, Henrique Bahia.

The plane began to land but hit a cable from a power tower. It crashed near Piedade de Caratinga, close to its destination.

The area was rugged, with many waterfalls, making the rescue tough.

The firefighters responded quickly after the crash. Early reports falsely stated everyone had survived.

But as the rescue unfolded on live TV, the truth came out. Marília and the others had not survived, leaving Brazil in mourning.
