CARNIVAL:
Agora Vai (Barra Funda) – With over 15 years of tradition, Carnival bloco Agora Vai will be playing this Friday at Boteco da Dona Tati.

Agora Vai’s musicians will be playing samba and Carnival songs from 8 PM to 11 PM.

Tu Vens (Bixiga) – São Paulo’s hottest Brazilian music party, Tu Vens takes place at Mundo Pensante this Friday.

As usual, Quarteto São Jorge will play the best of MPB, like Daniela Mercury, Tim Maia, Gil, Caetano, Benjor, Timbalada, Alceu Valença, and others. The party will be on from 11 PM to 6 AM.

Toinho Melodia (Bixiga) – Located in the bohemian neighborhood of Bixiga, Casa Barbosa is one of the great samba houses from in the region.

Tonight, Casa Barbosa will host group Samba da Gruta and the master Toinho Melodia, one of the great samba composers in São Paulo.
