São Paulo Government starts works for two new stations of Metro 15-Silver Line

The governor of São Paulo, Rodrigo Garcia, authorized today (Dec. 15) the beginning of expansion works of the monorail Line 15-Silver, which now must reach Jacu Pêssego.

According to the São Paulo government, two new stations - Boa Esperança and Jacu Pêssego - and a parking yard will be built.

The investment will be R$1.8 billion (US$339 million), and the conclusion of the work is forecast for 2025.

The work is expected to benefit 90,000 people daily, reducing the travel time from the city's far east side to the center of . . .
