RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Founded in 1927 in Florence, Salvatore Ferragamo opens today (12) a boutique at the shopping center JK Iguatemi in São Paulo. In August, the Maison will open a pop-up store at the Pátio Batel shopping center in Curitiba.

Targeting the high-end Latin American market, with growth in the sale of luxury products, Brazil, as a regional leader, is a key player in the brand’s expansion strategy for this decade.

The opening of two stores with new architectural concepts is aligned with the economic expansion expected after the pandemic. Since 2013, the local branch has been operated directly by the brand for more than ten years in the country.

In addition to its four stores in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and a factory outlet in São Roque, the brand has been undergoing a digital transformation in partnership with Farfetch and Iguatemi 365.

The design projects of the new stores differ from each other. The new store in the JK Iguatemi mall is based on rectilinear curves, with walnut, velvet, and a color palette that recalls summer in Tuscany. The furniture and lighting were developed by the Italian-based design team in collaboration with local professionals.

At the Pátio Batel shopping center in Curitiba, the pop-up store will be the first in the world with a new design concept with cubic-shaped furniture that expresses a modern feeling. At the same time, its bright and contrasting tones induce a playful and youthful outlook. The new look is intended to transport the brand to a level of modernity.

Both stores will receive the Pre-Fall 2021 collection, highlighting F-Heel shoes and the iconic Studio Bag and classic and sophisticated tailoring.
