Uruguay is Latin American country with highest level of support for democracy, at 74%

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The Chilean Latinobarómetro firm has published the results of its annual survey on democracy in 2021, having surveyed 17 Latin American countries between October 26 and December 15, 2020.

The objective was to know "the mood of citizens in the region after the first wave of the pandemic, at the beginning of the second wave, and with the promise of the arrival of the vaccine."

The document notes that "the countries with the highest support for democracy in the region are Uruguay (74%), Costa Rica (67%), Chile (60%), Argentina (55%), Bolivia (54%) and the Dominican . . .
