The instalment payments will be carried out through institutions that should be accredited by the DETRAN within the next 30 days. The president of the Rio de Janeiro DETRAN, Antonio Carlos dos Santos, believes that the measure is significant to assist the population in the fight against the Covid-19.

“We need to be attentive to all possibilities, to mitigate the population’s financial position. It will certainly be a great opportunity for the people to reorganize their finances, easing the pending fines and avoiding the consequences of default,” said Santos.
