RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The new Company Map report from the Ministry of Economy released on Thursday, September 30, shows that Brazil has once again set a record in the number of companies opened in a quadrimester, reaching the mark of 1.4 million new businesses.
The surplus of companies in operation in the country from May through August 2021 reached 936,229. This balance is the difference between all businesses opened (1,420,782) and closed (484,553) in the period. The total number of active companies in Brazil stands at 18,440,986.
