RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – SERASA’s ‘Feirão Limpa Nome’ (“Clean Name Event”) will help consumers indebted to 30 participating companies in Rio de Janeiro until November 30th. Negotiated payment reductions may reach 98 percent.
To take part, consumers have two alternatives:
Through the internet, on SERASA’s website or in person, at its branch located on Rua da Assembleia, nº 10, room 2613, in downtown Rio, from Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 6 PM. An official document with photo and CPF (Registration of Individuals) number is required.
In September, more than 3.1 million defaulters in Rio were recorded by SERASA, amounting to R$252 billion (US$63 million). The average debt is R$3,997.
