Located in the Santa Maria Building, an eight-story 1970’s building, Glória D’Or will feature a total of 500 beds. The adult and pediatric 24-hour Emergency Room will be accessed through Benjamin Constant Street and the other wards through Santo Amaro Street. The hospital will have a monthly capacity of 20,000 attendances.

According to the vice-president of Rede D’Or São Luiz, Paulo Moll, it is expected that, in full operation, Glória D’Or will employ approximately 5,000 people.

Mool also pledges to expand the care service with a broader range of medical agreements. In addition, he announces that a medical and nursing college with a capacity for 2,000 students will soon be operating in the facility. The building will also house the ‘Instituto D’Or de Pesquisa e Ensino’ (D’Or Institute for Research and Teaching), with extension, postgraduate and doctorate programs.
