RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – A fire hit the Balbino Hospital in Olaria, in the North Zone of Rio, in the afternoon of this Sunday, November 3rd.

According to the Fire Department, teams were deployed at 2.56 PM. Although the fire was under control thanks to the internal staff of the hospital, firefighters moved in for security reasons.

The hospital says that the fire started in an isolated place on the seventh floor, where there are no patients.

In photos and videos published on social networks, it is possible to see mattresses and stretchers on the floor, in front of the private health unit, as happened in the Badim Hospital in September, when, 20 elderly who needed to be transferred quickly, ended up dying.
