Aircraft makes emergency landing at Galeão Airport in Rio

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The aircraft was bound for Brasilia and was forced to land due to a turbine malfunction.

An Azul aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing at the Tom Jobim International Airport (Galeão) in Rio de Janeiro, on Monday, May 10th. Flight 4800 was departing Rio de Janeiro bound for Brasilia.

The aircraft took off from Santos Dumont Airport at around 6 AM, but did not make it out of the state due to a problem in the left turbine, which forced it to land at Galeão . . .
