Who has never forgotten keys, wallet, charger, or toiletry case inside the car?
Considering this type of everyday incident is so common, it’s unsurprising that Uber has decided to collect annual data on objects lost inside vehicles on runs.
However, the seventh edition of the survey has revealed some weird things left inside Uber cars worldwide – whether by tourists or not.
Among the reports of passengers seeking to retrieve their items were pets and even the girlfriend of one of the travelers.
In Brazil, for example, the most curious forgetting in the car seat was, in fact, a combo: three packets of chicken, a pair of Nike sneakers, and a computer mouse.
An unorthodox combination.
CURIOUS FINDS AROUND THE WORLD
Over the past year, Canadians have lost a bed sheet, an iPad pen, and a bathroom shelf in partner drivers’ cars.
In Taiwan, they left behind a gift box shaped like an egg yolk, a belt, a blood pressure monitor, a yellow dolphin puppet, and dog food.
Pesto sauce, a Halloween costume sword, an orthopedic anklet, and a jet cleaner were left behind in London.
A breast pump, car keys, and a NY cap were left together on an Uber car in France.
Two French coffee presses were lost in Mexico with a Canine Patrol toy, corn, and shampoo.
In Saudi Arabia, a package of rice, electronic cigarettes, and a large diamond earring were left behind.
More mysterious was the report of objects lost on a trip in Costa Rica: an orange bag with a “unicorn kangaroo,” a scooter, a blanket, and “a very important black sweater.”
Intriguing.
