After the Radar disclosure, five major samba schools in Rio told O Globo newspaper that they will only parade in 2021 if the vaccine against the disease is available to ensure everyone’s safety.

Mangueira, Imperatriz Leopoldinense, Vila Isabel, Beija-Flor, and São Clemente said that at the meeting to be held today at the LIESA headquarters, they will vote together to have the celebration deferred indefinitely.
