Covid-19: Brazil Records 1,031 Deaths in Last 24 Hours (September 30th)

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – The Ministry of Health’s daily bulletin, released on Wednesday, September 30th, shows that Brazil has a total of 4,810,935 cumulative cases of the novel coronavirus.

In the past 24 hours, there were 33,413 new confirmed cases of Covid-19.

The country has once again recorded more than a thousand daily deaths from Covid-19. In the past 24 hours, 1,031 people died from Covid-19. The total stands at 143,952. The last record of more than a thousand deaths occurred on September 15th.

According to the Ministry of Health, 10.1 percent of patients are currently under follow-up (486,607) and 86.9 percent of Brazilians who contracted Covid-19 have recovered (4,180,376).

Health authorities are still investigating if a further 2,466 deaths were caused by coronavirus.
