RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – In the past 24 hours, Brazil registered a daily record number of Covid-19 cases.
According to the data disclosed by the Ministry of Health, 70,574 cases were recorded between Tuesday and Wednesday, which led the country to pass the seven million infections mark.
The highest daily number of records of the disease thus far had been on July 29th,with 69,074, at the peak of the pandemic.
In the same 24 hours, the country registered 936 deaths as a result of the novel coronavirus, raising the total of deaths from the disease to 183,735.
