Brazil has vaccinated 49.5 million people with first dose, 23.42% of the population

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Considering the people who have been administered both doses, the number reached 23,026,522, equivalent to 10.87% of the population.

Brazil has vaccinated 49,584,110 people with the first dose by Monday, June 7, according to data compiled by the media outlet consortium. The figure represents 23.42% of the Brazilian population.

In the past 24 hours, the country administered over 700,000 doses. There were 606,586 people administered the first dose and 96,549 who took the booster, necessary to complete immunization.

Mato Grosso do Sul is the state where vaccine administration is more advanced, in proportional numbers. There, 32.88% of the population has been immunized.

As for the second dose, vaccination is more advanced in Rio Grande do Sul, where 13.78% of the population has been fully immunized.
