Wish Pledges Faster Deliveries from China to Brazil Through WishPost

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Wish has a proposed delivery schedule between 25 and 45 days through WishPost; marketplace products will be shipped with the client’s CPF (Tax ID) as required by the Brazilian Post Office.

The Wish e-commerce platform guarantees faster deliveries to Brazil through WishPost, which has a deadline of 25 to 45 days after payment confirmation, against 35 to 60 days for other shipping options. In addition, marketplace orders will not be charged additional postage. The company has several warehouses in China to expedite transport.

Wish guarantees that buyers in Brazil will be able to track WishPost orders all the way from the time they leave China until they reach their destination.

In a statement, the company explains that the delivery time at WishPost is shorter as a result of the optimization of service abroad: “for instance, orders from different merchants are now aggregated before they are addressed to the recipient in Brazil”.

This is possible due to Wish’s warehouses in China. There are sixteen distribution centers in total: they serve Brazil, Chile and Malaysia, and will cover more countries (and regions) “in the future”.

The company offers “high quality direct logistics services that can be tracked on low price products”, according to the official WishPost website. The shipment is carried out through China Post and other partners.

Packages currently include postal handling fees charged by the Correios, so there is no extra charge. In addition, Wish has been preparing for the CPF requirement on international parcels.

As of January 1st, 2020, all orders abroad bound for Brazil must display the recipient’s CPF next to the delivery address. Wish is collecting this data from customers to automatically include it in the shipping labels of all orders shipped from China; merchants are not required to handle this on their own.

The e-commerce platform is clearly interested in Brazil: this year, it launched a payment method of up to 6 interest-free installments for clients in the country.
