The 10 most promising startups in Brazil, according to LinkedIn

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – The social network of professional connections LinkedIn announced this Wednesday, 22, the list of Top Startups 2021, a publication that brings the top 10 small companies in Brazil that stood out for their growth, commitment, and talent attraction.

According to LinkedIn, the Covid-19 pandemic has transformed the business model of many companies, and the list intends to recognize the startups that, despite the troubling scenario, knew how to use technology to adapt and create new work routines.

The survey, conducted by the social network’s editorial team, considered the behavior of more than 774 million LinkedIn users and focused on four key areas: employee growth, engagement with the company and its current employees, interest in job openings, and attracting top talent.

Eligible startups are considered companies that fit the following criteria: independent, non-subsidiary companies; privately held companies founded at least seven years ago; companies with 50 or more employees; companies with headquarters in the country in which it appears on the list; companies that retained 20% or more of their workforce from June 1, 2020, to June 20, 2021.

“We have a solid list in innovation with the offering of digital services that have been reinforced by the need for social isolation caused by the pandemic, such as financial services, businesses linked to logistics and freight with the strengthening of e-commerces. In addition, we also noticed the presence of companies that offer products that are parts of people’s daily lives, such as digital banking and food delivery,” says Rafael Kato, editor-in-chief of LinkedIn for Latin America.
