President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT, progressive-globalist) signed this Sunday (Jan. 8) a decree of federal intervention in the security of the Federal District.
The decision comes after protesters invaded the Planalto Palace, the National Congress, and the Supreme Court (STF).
The decision was announced in a statement by the president during a trip to Araraquara, in the interior of São Paulo.
