Five Brazilian Singers Are Nominees for MTV’s 2020 EMA Awards

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – On Tuesday, October 6th, MTV announced the list of nominees for the EMA 2020, one of the main European music awards to be held on November 8th. Anitta, Djonga, Emicida, Ludmilla, and Pabllo Vittar compete for Best Brazilian Artist.

On the international scene, Lady Gaga is in the lead with seven nominations, including Artist of the Year, Best Pop Artist, and Clip of the Year for her duet with Ariana Grande on the song “Rain on Me”, which also secured a position in the categories of Song of the Year and Best Collaboration.

BTS and Justin Bieber are competing in five categories each, among them Biggest Fans and Best Pop Artist. In this edition, the award also gained three new categories: Best Latin Artist, Best Video for a Cause, and Best Live Performance. Voting is open from Tuesday, October 6th on mtvema.com, and will continue until November 2nd.
