RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro is again the leader of the PSL bench in the Chamber. The electronic system has just changed the name of Joice Hasselmann to that of President Jair Bolsonaro’s son.
Earlier, PSL deputies linked to President Jair Bolsonaro prepared a new list to request Joice’s dismissal and Eduardo Bolsonaro‘s return to office.
The list of 28 names was submitted yesterday afternoon to the Chamber’s General Secretariat Bureau. This is the fourth change in the bench leadership in the Chamber this year alone.
Last week, the party suspended 14 deputies, which gave the acronym’s wing linked to the party’s president, deputy Luciano Bivar, the majority to place Joice at the helm on Wednesday, December 11th.
However, in the aftermath, an injunction of the 4th Civil Court of Brasília overthrew the party’s national directory decision.
On Monday, Bolsonarists reorganized a new list to bring back the president’s son to the post.
